Retired Equipment List

List is presented in descending order of retirement.

Right & Left Front Speakers
Kenwood Floor Standing (Model number unknown.) Lost in moving to current location. No loss really considering they were pre built paper cone speakers. I can do better.

VCR – Sony SLV-740HF
Died in Spring 2011. When it died it also ate a copy of Snow White. It had a long useful life of 10+ years. Thank you Sony.

OTA Antenna – Antennas Direct Terrestrial Digital DB4
Replaced with Comcast cable on 08/15/2011. Retired and put in storage for potential reuse in the future. Excellent product with great reception.

VCR – Sony SLV-N700
This component was retired and donated to Goodwill on 09/15/2011. It served us well and we wish it luck in finding a new home.

AV Receiver – RCA RT2600
Don’t laugh. Part of old HTIB setup. Retired and donated to Goodwill with the addition of Onkyo TX-NR609 on 10/09/2011.

Subwoofer – RCA Subwoofer RT2600
Stop laughing! At least the sticker says it is a subwoofer. Retired by the addition of Onkyo TX-NR609 on 10/09/2011. The OnkyoTX-NR609 does not have a Speaker Level output for the subwoofer.

Wireless Router – Linksys WRT54GS
Retired by the addition of D-Link DIR-655 on 11/21/2011. This was done to upgrade to faster wireless speeds for improved performance with Wii, Kindle Fire and the Onkyo UWF-1 for music streaming. In this case retirement means it goes to the mother-in-law's house.

DVD Player - Panasonic DMR-ES10
Retired by the addition of Panasonic DMP-BDT210 on 01/14/2012. Replacing the DVD Recorder with a Blu-ray Player has been a long time coming. The DMR-ES10 had a long useful life of 7+ years. Donated to Goodwill to find a new home. Thank you Panasonic.

Center, Left & Right Front Speakers - RCA RT 2600
Retired with purchase of Klipsch HD 500 5.1 Compact Home Theater System on 03/17/2012. These speakers were part of a HTiB system that are matched to the RCA Subwoofer RT2600 retired on 10/09/2011. These speakers provided decent sound but nothing special.

Cable Box Motorola DCX3400
Retired with the cancelation of Comcast cable television service on 09/23/2012. Since it was rental from Comcast it will be returned to Comcast.
